Kahlil Daniel is an independent artist, who hails from Teaneck, NJ. He is a producer, singer-songwriter, actor, director, and 1/2 of the On The Way Podcast (part of the 2x NAACP Image Award winning Mocha Podcasts Network!). He’s been performing since the age of three, and playing the piano since the age of five. He holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Howard University and joined the Actor’s Equity Association in 2012. In 2010 he founded Instinct Entertainment, and began releasing music in 2013. With a redefined sound, and signature R&B tone, he released his sophomore EP 'Higher' in 2018! He has also worked as a Music Director for the Classical Theatre of Harlem, where he was nominated for an Audelco Award for "Outstanding Music Direction," for his original compositions, and formerly for his home church. He considers live performance to be the best part of his musical journey and has played venues in the NYC/DC area like, SOBs, DROM, Pianos, The Bitter End, The High Line Ballroom, The Howard Theater, The Delancey, & Baby's All Right! He has co-produced and co-written with producers like, "The Supernaturals," Jada-Marie, Jon John Robinson, Kwesi Justice, Stephen Spencer, & Matthew Whitaker - and opened for artists like Jon B.
